Position: LEM Administrator

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Salary: 45-55,000 per year

Education: Completion of High School; Completion of College

Experience: 3-5 years experience processing Accounts Payable in a multi-company environment

 

Summary: The vital position is responsible for administration of LEM’s (Labour, Equipment, and Material) documentation. It requires a great amount of knowledge of business and the Oil and Gas customers that it serves in Fort McMurray. Individuals will be exposed to many facets of business including but not limited to: invoicing, payroll, contract and project management, and collections. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with high accuracy are essential

Duties: Entry of LEM’s from site, correspondence with site management and personnel, invoicing in both MML (Mikisew Maintenance Limited) and customer systems. Provide supporting documentation for accruals and invoicing, ad-hoc reporting for both internal and external customers, other duties as assigned

Skills: Data entry, excel skills, good numeracy and literacy skills. Customer service skills, organized and methodical in approaching work and resulting issues

Position:    Light Duty/Heavy Duty Apprenticeships

Location:   Fort McMurray AB- Kearl Oil Sands Project

 

Reporting to the Asset and Fleet Manager the employee(s) will be given an exception opportunity to obtain a trade in either light or heavy duty technology. Mikisew Energy has two potential openings for Mikisew members, and would offer fully paid training opportunities for successful applicants, as well as industry leading pay and benefits programs including tool allowances. This would be a fly in-fly out position.

 

Applicants would be required to pass a pre apprenticeship entrance exam, and preference would be given to Mikisew youth recently graduated from Grade 12.
